Hello
Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell how we got started making knives. the story is kinda neat, but we do not have enough space to tell the whole tale. Simply, I was learning to flint knapp blades and arrowheads, when my step-daughter gave me a Dremel tool for Christmas. The deer-antler handles I carved, turned out so well we changed to 440C stainless blades and they caught on from there. I had admired Joe Gewin's work and Joe shared not only his friendship, but some of his ideas. We do similar work, but yet different. There has been times one would have a new idea to show the other, and the imiage we had to show the other was maybe of the same critter, carved in our own style. By the way the Damacus blade with the antlered buck carved at the eye tine and the sacred white-buffalo on the crown sells for $595.00 includes Carved stand and fur to display it on ,of course it is Numbered and Signed!
